As I reflect on my past year, I realize almost nothing I had planned out went “according to plan”

Isn’t that the simple truth of life. Change is the only constant in the world.

If we know change is coming, why do we not plan for it? In this episode, I break down how exactly we can do that and be proactive when it comes to change.

Question of the day - What has been the BIGGEST change for you this year? Let me know in the comment section of the video

Are you going through a transitional period?

Perhaps you just graduated or suffered a loss of some kind, or maybe its a change in your job or your business.

Or perhaps you are simply "stuck"

Whatever you are going through, we have been there and we are here for you.

This week's episode looks to tackle the ever constant issue of change and how we can deal with change in positive ways to make ourselves wiser, stronger and better.

Solonia Teodros is one of the co-founders of Change School, a learning institute all about change as they facilitate workshops and retreats to help people in transition.

Their flagship retreat, ChangeVentures, is a 21-day retreat in Bali where people gather to deconstruct old beliefs, reconstruct new ones and apply all learnings towards a more fulfilling life.

In this episode,  Solonia walks us through exactly what The Change School is, how they came to be, and as well as breaks down the impact the workshops has had on previous attendees.

Solonia tells us how we can cope with change, some new habits we can all incorporate and gives some great online resources as well.

Stop focusing on being an entrepreneur because it is cool or you want the "lifestyle."

Focus on finding a PAIN and SOLVING a problem for the world. That is how you are going to create value for society.

At the end of the day, society might deem you "an entrepreneur", and that is cool. But stop aiming for that nonsense in the beginning

Deliver value with everything you do and be a hero to someone else besides yourself.

Agree? Disagree?

Do you want an unfair advantage in life?

In doesn’t matter who you are, whether you are a student, a doctor, or a businessman, I imagine that we all want an unfair advantage in life.

We are featuring Scott Oldford this week from Infinitus.

He specializes in helping entrepreneurs that are at the six figure level go to the next level in their business through, online marketing, strategy and building out marketing funnels.

He won a few awards early on in his career such as top 20 under 20 and was even named top 50 Emerging Leaders in Atlantic Canada.

Since then, he went through 3 massive business failures, survived being in 3/4 of a million dollars in debt, became the author of the book "Connections That Count" and built a seven-figure company in Infinitus

In the episode, Scott teaches us exactly how he was able to do all this as well as give a 6 step framework to discover your unfair advantage.

That’s what it is all about. Knowing your own super power and trying to solve a pain for the world.

This is a great mind shift that I have learnt recently from guests on the show as well as seeing world class speakers live.

Aligning your values to what you say you are going to do. It's honestly that simple.

If you do not align your values, you are going to be running in circles for a long time.

This week, we have Will Hatton from

He has been travelling around the world for seven years now and first hit the road with just a couple of dollars in his pocket and backpack.

Now, after years of roughing it and working odd jobs to stay on the road, he founded his budget adventure website 'The Broke Backpacker’.

Within the first year, he was published by The BBC, The Daily Mail, Business Insider, Forbes, Yahoo Travel and numerous other publications

He has amassed social media following of over 100,000 followers and used this to catapult himself into the limelight with editors, tourism boards and travel contacts.

He is now sponsored by GoPro, Red Bull, Hostel World and some other prominent names in the travel industry.

The Daily Mail has described him as ‘The Most Adventurous Backpacker in the World’ and he is currently preparing or should I say currently embarking on his most ambitious project to date;

A two year trip from the UK to Papua New Guinea, He wants to go through thirty countries, without the use of any flights.

Obviously, this is a really badass life that most millennials dream about, so I was really curious to get Will on the show.

In this episode, he literally breaks it all down for us.

How did he start blogging?

How did he start monetizing on writing?

How does he get some of these sponsors and businesses to support his cause and trips?

And of course, Will shared some near death experiences and cool traveling stories from all his adventures.

This is a personal episode. It is something that I feel compelled to share.

Validating ourselves and our journey has led me to realize the many ups and downs in my life.

It has led me to embrace all aspects of myself and it is one of the most honest exercises we can do.

I invite you to join me on this episode and explore this side of yourself.

This week, we have an awesome guest in JV Crum III. The man who literally wrote the book on Conscious Millionaire and shares with us how we can all be one.

First of all, it was his birthday earlier this past weekend, so happy belated birthday JV!

Not only does he walks us through exactly what is a conscious millionaire? but gives us the necessary actionable steps to become one.

He also goes through a framework that allows us to monetize our passions. So if you are a content creator or a creative in any capacity, this is a MUST listen.

In the episode, he shares stories and insight on how we figured out his purpose and his transformation on becoming a conscious millionaire.

We cover quite a bit of material in this episode, so make sure to take some notes and feel free to stop the episode to think about what he says.

JV is also a fellow podcaster with two shows. One on business and one on health.

He does it all and runs a not-for-profit as well named Conscious World Foundation

Without further ado, here is the episode with JV. Enjoy!
